Parents’ Place is a 28 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well-being of children of all ages.

Parents’ Place offers classes, home visits, referrals, support groups, and supervised visitation to families throughout Cowlitz County.

Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears can give you some tools and improve communication in your family. This class meets every Tuesday from 6-7:30pm starting May 14. There are several classes starting this month. Strenthening Families is for people with middle school aged children. Active Parenting the 1st 5yrs. is for people with children 5yrs. old and younger. Love and Logic: Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts is for people working with or raising children who have experienced trauma and loss. Here are the parenting classes available at Parents Place in January: 

Love and Logic: Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun. This five week class is appropriate for raising any age child. Learn how to stop whining and arguing, managing morning mayhem, ideas to get your child to go to bed, and more. No childcare availble. If you need to bring children with you, please bring snacks and something to keep your child busy during class. Class starts Tuesday January 9, 2024 at 6:30pm.
