Parents’ Place is a 37 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well- being of children of all ages.
Parents’ Place offers parenting classes, referrals, support groups, and supervised visitation, to families throughout Cowlitz County.
One of the primary sponsors for Parents’ Place is the Red Hat Thrift Store located at 1245 Commerce. The Red Hat Thrift Store was founded with the sole purpose of funding two agencies in Cowlitz County- Emergency Support Shelter and Parents’ Place. The Red Hat is a quality thrift store located in the newly formed vintage district in downtown Longview. You can find high end clothing, shoes, accessories and household items at the store. By supporting the Red Hat with your donations and purchases you are helping domestic violence victims and at risk families throughout the year. The Red Hat distributes their store profits on a quarterly basis to our two agencies.. The store has provided over $1,000,000 in years past to Emergency Support Shelter and Parents’ Place.
