Week 1 discusses conflict management styles and C.H.O.I.C.E.S for handling conflict.
This class is specifically for people raising children ages 10-14yrs. old. Parents AND youth MUST attend together. Parents learn about how to improve communication with their youth and are reminded about the stress of being this age. Youth learn about the importance of rules, respecting parents, peer resistance skills, and more. 4H activities are provided for children in kindergarten through age 9. Childcare is provided for younger children. Dinner and prizes are included. Free. Classes are held at Mark Morris High School AA Wing 1602 Mark Morris Ct. Longview.
