Join us Tuesday evenings starting July 12 from 6-8pm for Love and Logic: Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts. This six week class is for anybody raising or working with children who have experienced trauma and/or loss. Abuse, an ugly divorce, death of a close family member, and parental incarceration, are examples of traumatic events. $15 due on the 1st day of class for the book. Book is required. Class fee is $20/$25 per week, adjustable if needed. Children 2yrs. old and younger are welcome in class. Call 360-414-9212 with questions or to register.

Children in Between. Saturday June 4 9am to noon. One session class on co-parenting. Meets the WA ST requirement of a 4hr. parenting class on the effects of divorce/separation on children. $40. No scholarships or childcare available.

Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears will start Tuesday June 7 from 6-8pm. This four week class covers parental and children's anger, calming techniques, discipline, and more. $20/25 per week, adjustable as needed. Unknown at this time if childcare will be available.

The Incredible Years Toddlers starts Thursday June 9 at 5pm. This free12 week class offered by Columbia Wellness focuses on building positive parenting skills for all parents of children 1-3yrs old. Here is what is starting in April at Parents Place:

READY! for Kindergarten- Free online workshops for families with children born between 9-1-16 and 8-31-21. The workshops show parents how to use a READY! toolkit 10min. a day everyday to prepare their kids for success in kindergarten. Parents receive the kit after attending the workshop. Workshops are available April 1 through April 30, 2022. Register at readyforkindergarten.org/parentsplace/schedule .

Children in Between- This is a class on co-parenting. It meets the WA ST requirement of a 4hr. parenting class on the effects of divorce/separation on children. $40. The fee is $20 per week as an individual, $25 per week as a couple. The fee is adjustable if needed. We still do not have space to offer childcare. Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears. A four week class on parental and children's anger. Week one covers conflict resolution styles and seven techniques for handling conflict. Week two talks about self-defeating messages and discipline. Week three is on the anger cycle, calming techniques, and tantrums. Week four is all about communication and implementation.
