Battle, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears

We are offering Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears in December. This four week class focuses on parental anger, children's anger, calming techniques, appropriate discipline, and more. Class starts Tuesday December 6 from 6-8pm. $20/$25 per week, adjustable if needed. No childcare available. If you do not have other arrangements for your children and need to bring them to class, bring them enough food for two hours and something to keep them busy. July Class at Parents Place

Join us Tuesday evenings starting July 12 from 6-8pm for Love and Logic: Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts. This six week class is for anybody raising or working with children who have experienced trauma and/or loss. Abuse, an ugly divorce, death of a close family member, and parental incarceration, are examples of traumatic events. $15 due on the 1st day of class for the book. Book is required. Class fee is $20/$25 per week, adjustable if needed. Children 2yrs. old and younger are welcome in class. Call 360-414-9212 with questions or to register. 

Parenting Classes Starting in June-edited 5/19

Children in Between. Saturday June 4 9am to noon. One session class on co-parenting. Meets the WA ST requirement of a 4hr. parenting class on the effects of divorce/separation on children. $40. No scholarships or childcare available.

The Incredible Years Toddlers starts Thursday June 9 at 5pm. This free12 week class offered by Columbia Wellness focuses on building positive parenting skills for all parents of children 1-3yrs old. The Incredible Years Babies starts Tuesday June 21 at 10:30am. This free class offered by Columbia Wellness will help you encourage babies’ physical and language development.
