Class

5wk. class for families with children of any age. Here is what is covered:

Wk. 1: Learn a technique you can use immediately to reduce whinning and arguing.

Wk. 2: Say What You Mean, Mean What You Say, the 3 "E"s of Love and Logic, parenting styles, and the "Uh-Oh" song.

Wk. 3: Lead by example and the power of giving choices. 

Wk. 4: More Say What You Mean, Mean What You Say and preparing children for success.

Wk. 5: What to do when you don't know what to do. 

This class is offered to the youth who have parents/caregivers signed up for the Parent sessions on Thursdays. Youth only meet on this night and will join their parents/caregivers in the Family session on Thursdays. Optional orientation on Thursday September 30, 2021. Youth session uses fun activities to help youth understand the parent's point of view, the importance of rules, and peer resistance skills.
