Here is what is starting in April at Parents Place: 

READY! for Kindergarten- Free online workshops for families with children born between 9-1-16 and 8-31-21. The workshops show parents how to use a READY! toolkit 10min. a day everyday to prepare their kids for success in kindergarten. Parents receive the kit after attending the workshop. Workshops are available April 1 through April 30, 2022. Register at readyforkindergarten.org/parentsplace/schedule . 

Children in Between- This is a class on co-parenting. It meets the WA ST requirement of a 4hr. parenting class on the effects of divorce/separation on children. $40. No scholarships or childcare available. Infants are welcome. Sat. April 9, 2022 9am to noon. Call 360-414-9212 for more information or to register. 

Love and Logic: Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!- Don't let the name fool you. This 5wk. class is for parents raising any age child. $20/$25 per week, adjustable if needed. Starts Tue. April 12 from 6-8pm. No childcare available. Infants are welcome. Call 360-414-9212 for more information or to register.

Here are the classes starting in February:

Love and Logic starts February 8, 2022 from 6-8pm. This class will meet in-person every Tuesday for five weeks. It is appropriate for raising any age child. The fee is $20 per week as an individual, $25 per week as a couple. The fee is adjustable if needed. We still do not have space to offer childcare. Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears Book

Here is what we are offering in January at Parents Place:

Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears. A four week class on parental and children's anger. Week one covers conflict resolution styles and seven techniques for handling conflict. Week two talks about self-defeating messages and discipline. Week three is on the anger cycle, calming techniques, and tantrums. Week four is all about communication and implementation. This class starts Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 6pm. Ready for Kindergarten. Free online workshop for families with children born between 9-1-16 and 8-31-21. This class is new to our area. It is being offered free and online. This five week class is for families with 9-14yr. olds. Learn how to develop healthy beliefs, manage anger in a positive way, strengthen family bonds, and more. We will offer Active Parenting the 1st 5yrs. in November. This class will start Tuesday November 23rd from 6-8pm. This four week class is about raising children ages birth through five years old. Learn ages and stages, age appropriate discipline and consequences, some brain development, and more. We are still unable to offer childcare due to a lack of physical space. Infants too young to walk are welcome to join their parents in class.
